March 8th – Doors open 9:00 am. Coffee and donuts. At 10:00 am Racing Pigeon Show starts. 5 classes for hens and cocks: best BB, BC, Sil. and RC, and AOC. Prizes for best of class. Trophies for best overall cock and best overall hen. Bill Mitiu AU director will judge. Birds kept in carrying case until called for by the judge. Entry fee is $2.00 per bird. Lunch at noon. MOS auction approx. 1:00pm. 

March 15th – Doors open 10:00 am. Lunch 12:00 noon. At 1:00 pm guest speaker Ken Weyer of Weyer Family Loft, breeder of Ganus bloodlines. Also, Tim Lucas from Indiana will be attending. Questions and answers to follow. Both Weyer and Lucas will be bringing 10 youngsters from their loft to be auctioned off prior to the MOS auction. An additional 3 birds each will be donated to the MOS auction. MOS auction to follow. Auction to start approximately 2:00 pm.

March 22nd - Doors open 10:00 am. Lunch 12:00 noon. At 1:00 pm guest speaker will be Andy Larentzakis of Big Andy’s Loft of Canada. Questions and answers to follow. Big Andy will have available 10 youngsters from his loft to be auctioned off prior to the MOS auction. An additional 3 youngsters will be donated by Andy for the MOS auction. Auction to start approximately 2:00 pm.

March 29th – Doors open 10:00am. Lunch 12:00 noon. At 1:00 pm. guest speaker will be Danny Hutchins, winner of the 2008 World Ace Challenge . Danny will discuss: Feed for the race, Breeding for success, and His feed program. Questions and answers to follow. Danny will bring 10 youngsters from his loft to be auctioned off before the MOS auction, plus 3 youngsters for the MOS auction that follows. Dennis Kuhn of Kuhn’s Whiteracers, Minnesota will also be on hand with all your loft needs and supplies. In addition, Dennis will bring 6 young birds to be sold before the MOS auction and 3 additional birds that will go through the MOS auction…..if you need specific supplies or medications, call Dennis at 1-952/873-5664 ahead of time and he will bring those items with him. MOS auction will start at approximately 2:00pm.

MOS Race Rules

Open to all lofts with airline of 200 to 325 miles of Boonville, Missouri.

If not a member of a club on our trailer, birds must be shipped from RRV club. Unikon and manual clocks accepted.
MOS race will be a separate release on Saturday, August 29th with basketing 6:00 - 8:00 pm. at RRV club Friday night August 28th.
Bidding on live birds will start at $10.00. Cards will start at $20.00. Breeder is responsible for opening bid. Breeder is responsible to get bird to buyer by May 1st!! New for this year; a breeder can buy his own card without going through the auction for $30.00. For each card you wish to buy for $30.00, you must put an additional card or bird through the auction.
Prize money of first $7,000.00 will pay 45%, 25%, 15%, 10%, 5%. Next $1,000.00 in prize money will pay $200.00, 6th – 10th place. Money over $8,000.00 will go to the 1st five places with it being divided in the above mentioned percentages. Prize money has been running around $10,000.00. 
Prize money 50% breeder and 50% flyer.
RRV reserves the right to take GPS reading and toss bird for 1st five places.
Race ends sunset 2nd night after release. If prizes not filled, money split between prized birds. If no birds clocked in race time, all money will roll over to next year.
